New: Recognition of non-university courses
Have you completed training, a course or similar outside of university and does this qualification fit in with the subject area of your degree? Then you might be interested in validation!
Validation allows you to have qualifications obtained outside the university recognized for your studies. At the University of Graz, this is currently possible for four degree programs: Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Sport and Exercise Science, Master's degree program in Adult and Continuing Education, and the extended degree program in Leadership.
You can find out how validation works, what requirements must be met and what you should be aware of in the link below.

Excursion of the students
Workshop of the bit training center
Jasmin Fischer and her colleague Michelle Bachl from the bit training center provided exciting insights into project management on 16.10.2023. First, the Erasmus+ program was introduced. The students were then introduced to the classic process of a project - starting with the project application, through collaboration with international project partners to project completion. During the breaks, the students were able to recharge their batteries thanks to the generous catering. The access 2 learn project, which aims to promote the skills of people with a low level of qualification in blended learning, was then presented. The project also has a second target group, namely adult educators, who can find numerous materials on the project website that can be useful for their daily work, such as workshop concepts or the self-evaluation tool. Finally, there was enough time for questions from the students and a pleasant conclusion.

Excursion to pewag - Graz site
On October 23, 2023, an excursion to the pewag site in Graz took place for the second time as part of the Project and Training Management seminar led by Philipp Assinger. From nine to thirteen o'clock, the students were able to gain valuable insights into the company and especially into the pewag academy. Together, they worked out which aspects need to be considered when developing a further training program and what challenges are involved. The interesting content was deepened in the course of a twenty-minute group work session and then discussed. Una Ponsold and Andrea Zach, two employees of the pewag academy, are graduates of the Master's program in Adult and Continuing Education and were able to use their own biographies to explain how they perceived the transition from university to professional life.
We would like to thank the head of the pewag academy, DDr. Jelena Fischer, for the invitation and the organization of the workshop.
