Information on staying abroad
The Department of Adult and Continuing Education offers a wide range of places for stays abroad. Stay can last between 6 and 12 months.
A period abroad during the Master’s programme in Adult and Continuing Education offers numerous benefits that enrich both your studies and your professional and personal development. Coming into contact with other academic approaches and teaching methods opens up new perspectives on one’s own identity as a researcher and as an adult and continuing education trainer. During the stay, it is also possible to build valuable professional networks that can be helpful not only during one’s studies but also later in one’s career.
Engaging with a foreign environment also helps to develop the ability to adapt to new challenges and to find solutions independently. Experiencing other cultures broadens one’s understanding of different ways of thinking and working. Finally, a stay abroad makes a significant contribution to personal development, as it fosters independence, self-confidence and a sense of responsibility. All these aspects contribute to one's individual professional development.
