The Master’s programmes serve to consolidate, deepen and specialise one’s interests based on the knowledge and skills gained while completing the Bachelor’s programme in Educational Science. It also serves to prepare students for a subsequent Doctorate programme. The Master’s programme provides a disciplinary foundation for critical and analytic thinking, serving to also recognise interrelations with transdisciplinary and international developments and to conduct one’s own research project. Furthermore, students are encouraged to develop personal, social, medial, and planning/organisational competences. Within the Master’s programme, a Master’s thesis must be completed.
